FASHION STYLIST – TIPS AND ADVICE 

  1. Choose clothes to compliment the skin tones of the models you are styling.
  2. If you have blue based skin under tones you will find that cool blue based colours will suit you the best.
  3. If you have warm skin under tones then you will find that warm colours like yellow or reds will suit you the best.
  4. If you are a large boned person then it will suit you to have clothes with large patterns on then rather than snmall patterns.
  5. A person with a small build would be suited to clothes with delicate smaller patterns rather than large patterns.
  6. If you are a large boned person then choose accessories and jewelry which is chunky and in proportion to your size. Smaller people would look overwhelmed with large items of

    jewelry or accessories. Everything should look in proportion to your overall size.

  7. When you are building up a wardrobe choose clothes and accessories which compliment your existing wardrobe and outfits.
  8. Be able to source special occasion outfits.
  9. Choose models whos personality compliments the clothes you have chosen for them.
  10. The models should have the confidence to wear the clothes without feeling embarrassed or uncomfortable.
  11. Choose outfits which are suitable for the activities you have planned.
  12. Choose clothes which are suitable for the climate and temperature of the environment you are in.
  13. Be aware that some styles of clothes can make you look important and successful while others will make you look poor and informal.
