MODELLING TIP No 1 – Learn all you can about make up and hair styling. Build up a repertoire of different looks which you can use for different types of photo shoots and assignments.

MODELLING TIP No 2 – Never do anything at a photo shoot which is

dangerous. Don’t be afraid to say “NO” Always check the safety precaution that have been put in place personally. Don’t just take someone else’s word. This is particularly important when you are doing “action” shots. These are shots which involve movement, acrobatics, or the use of a large prop which is moving, such as a motorbike. Only go ahead when you feel that you will be safe and not exposed to any real danger or risk of injury yourself.

MODELLING TIP No 3 – When you are doing glamour photographic work make sure you have a robe to wear in the break periods. As you are taking off a lot of your clothes for glamour work you should be working in a reasonably warm environment.

MODELLING TIP No 4 – During many photo shoots and catwalk shows you are waiting around for other people to get themselves ready for the shoot or the show. With this in mind always take along something to fill in the time, such as a book for read, or some music and headphones.
